Jennifer S. “Jenni” Barclay, 48 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away from ovarian cancer on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. Memorial Services will be held 2:00pm Saturday, November 14, 2020 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Please bring and wear a mask.

Jennifer Sue “Jenni” Barclay was born December 28, 1971 in Sioux City, IA the daughter of Verdell Greeny, Jr. and Cynthia (Skow) Armstrong. Jenni lived in Sioux City her entire life. She went to Riverview, West Jr. and graduating from West High School. Jenni married Travis Barclay on April 23, 1994 and in this union they had two children; Brookelynn and Travis Jr. She worked as a housekeeper for most of her life, but her last employer was at Mass Markets.

She enjoyed watching T.V., some of her favorites were the Food Network (Beat Bobby Flay), HGTV, and home renovation shows, Wentworth, Teen Mom. She was a Raiders fan.  Jenni loved her music from Metallica to Prince. She was a night owl, staying up late talking to family, playing card games like skipbo and cribbage, doing word searches, listening to music, and drinking her Live Wire.

She is survived by her husband, Travis, Sr., two children, Brookelynn (Derick) Barclay, Travis Barclay, Jr., her mother, Cindy Armstrong, sister, Heather Canales, two brother–in-laws, Cliff (Shelly) Olson, Troy (Sara) Smith, three sister-in-laws, Connie Wilson, Claudia Shephard, Carmen (Rob) Olson, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and several cousins, and her beloved dog, Max.

Jenni is proceeded in death by her father, Verdell Greeny, stepfather, Larry Armstrong, sister, Lori Roche, maternal grandparents, Vernon and Helen Skow, paternal grandparents, Edna Greeny, and Everett (Jean) Barclay.
