Jennifer Jeannette Brown, 25, of South Sioux City, NE, departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at a local hospital surrounded by her family.

Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 28, 2015, with Rev. James Mosley officiating at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.Burial will be at Dakota City Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held 4pm- 8pm Friday, March 27, 2015 with a prayer service at 7pm at the funeral home.

Jennifer was born on March 2, 1990, in Sioux City, the daughter of Ricky and Dianne (Smith) Brown. Jennifer confessed a hope in Christ in 2003 at Landmark Baptist Church and as time goes on she continued her faith in Christ at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Floyd D. Brown.

In the year 2011, Jennifer united with Chrishuwn West Sr. and to this union, one son, Chrishuwn Ashante West Jr.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her parents, four brothers: Ricky Smith of Sioux City, Derrick (Lori) Smith of Sergeant Bluff, Carlo Brown of Sioux City, Steven Brown of Sioux City, two sisters: Erica Smith and Angel Brown both of Sioux City, four nieces, and five nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and relatives.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents.
