Jeff Lambing, 62 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.  A Celebration of Life will be held on December 9th, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Crystal Court Community Building located at 1001 Honeylocust Drive, South Sioux City, NE.

Jeff was born October 17, 1961, to James Lambing and Creola (Constable) Lambing in Amarillo, TX. He married Wendy Smith on July 23, 2001, in Elk Point, SD.

Jeff enjoyed spending his pastime carving canes out of driftwood, fishing, camping and listening to music. He loved spending time with his stepdaughter, grandkids and his close family meant the world to him. He worked as an iron worker for many years.

Jeff is survived by his wife of 22 years, Wendy (Smith) Lambing of Sioux City, IA, stepdaughter, Ashley (Chris) Lafleur of Sioux City, IA, his three grandchildren, Malachi Weddle, Grayson and William Lafleur. Brother, Steve (Carla) Lambing of Sioux City, IA, sister, Ann (Joe) Brandl of Randolph, NE, brother, James Lambing, Jr. of Sioux City, IA, brother, Jay (Trisha) Lambing of Sioux City, IA, father-in-law Ralph Smith, South Sioux City, NE, several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Creola Lambing, mother-in-law, Margo Smith, grandparents, Lester and Hazel Lambing and Jay and Flossie Constable, aunt, Ruth Whites and cousin Doug Whites.
