Jean A. Lane, 64 of Sloan, Iowa passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022. Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00pm until 3:00pm Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Alpine Inn in Omaha, Nebraska, 10405 Calhoun Road.

Jean Ann Lane was born February 15, 1958, in Tripoli Libya, Africa the daughter of Eugene and Hazel (Harmeier) Leonard. Jean grew up in Carter Lake, Iowa and attended Thomas Jefferson High School graduating in 1976. She continued her education at Iowa Western Community College where she received her degree. Jean moved to Sloan, Iowa in 2000 where she remained until her passing.

She loved playing bingo, square dancing, and going bowling. Jean also enjoyed collecting elephants and tweedy birds.

Jean is survived by her two sons, Michael Lane, Joey (fiancée Brandi Anderson) Lane, daughter, Jennie (Joseph) Robey; three grandchildren, Michael Jr., Spencer and Joey Jr.; two siblings, Kathy Turner and Michael McConahay; two nieces, Heather and Lindsay and one nephew, Erick; cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
