Jean Marie Hunt, 68, of Sioux City, Iowa died Thursday, February 29, 2024 at her home. A private Celebration of Life will be held with the family. Waterbury Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jean Marie was born November 22, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Vola and Betty (Collins) Vaught. She was an Army Brat so she lived all over the world. While in Arizona, Jean met her husband ‘D’. They spent over 47 years together. Over the years, Jean touched many lives through her florist work, sales experience and work at the bank. She was a woman of many hats.

Jean loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed finding hidden gems wherever she went in her travels.

Survivors include her husband, D; four sons, Dean (Stephanie) Hunt, DJ Hunt, Michael Hunt (Vaught), and Jason (Jay Jay) Hunt; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wanda Ilardi and Holly Dutcher.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammi; brother, Terry and a sister, Cecilia Cox.
