Jason Lee Stone, age 32, of Sioux City passed away on Saturday January 4, 2014 at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday January 9, 2014 at Glad Tidings Lighthouse Church in South Sioux City, Nebraska with Rev. Michael Ring officiating. Interment will follow in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held following the service on Thursday at the church. Waterbury Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Jason was born in Sioux City, Iowa on October 19, 1981, the son of David and Nancy (Harvey) Stone. He was a lifelong resident of Sioux City.

Jason attended Mid-Step Services while living with his grandmother. He loved music, animals, and car rides. His favorite song was “ I Am Free”. The most important thing is his life was attending church. He was a member of Glad Tidings Lighthouse Church.

Jason’s life and memories will be remembered by his family which includes his mother Nancy Beckner, his step-father Terry Beckner, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Two special cousins who have helped Jason so much recently are Andrea Kuehn, and Linda Peck.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather George Harvey.
