Jason C. Schlotman, 44, of Dakota City, NE passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, following an accident. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 6pm at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. A Visitation will be held from 4-6pm at the same location.

Jason Charles Schlotman was born Thursday, March 15, 1979, to Sid and Cynthia (Frank) Schlotman in Sioux City, Iowa. He married Jamie Reed February 2, 2002, and together they raised their three children Jaycee, McKinzie, and Reed. He loved them very much! He was also very close to his “bonus kids”: nephews, niece and others who he felt like a father figure to.  He enjoyed boating, camping, and river time with family and friends.

Jason is survived by Jamie; daughters Jaycee and McKinzie; son Reed; his parents Sid (Penny) Schlotman and Cindi (Tim) Meyers; his brother Josh Schlotman; sisters LeeAnn (Jon) Cook and Kayci Meyers; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and his uncle's Dale and Keith Frank.
