Jared R. Eberly, 39 of Sergeant Bluff, died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at a local hospital. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Jared Ronald Eberly was born on July 18, 1980 in Sioux City, the son of Ronald and Jenine (Easton) Eberly. Jared graduated from East High School in 1998. Jared worked at several area businesses including customer service at Stream and later at Vizio. Last year, he began working at Saber Communications.

Jared enjoyed video games and also hosting bonfires with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball. He loved to follow the San Francisco 49ers, the WWE wrestling and the Michigan State Mavericks football team.

Jared is survived by his daughters, Adrianna Eberly, Aeris Eberly and Angelique Eberlyl, all of Sergeant Bluff, his brother, Jeff Eberly of Sioux City, his father, Ronald Eberly of Sioux City and his mother, Jenine Easton of Sergeant Bluff, and his grandmother, Glenda Easton of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Bernice Eberly, step grandmother, Annette Eberly and maternal grandfather, Darrell Easton.
