Janice R. Pfrimmer, 85 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at a local care facility, surrounded by her family. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7 p.m. with family present from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. and vigil service will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Janice was born on July 16, 1940 in Le Mars, IA the daughter of Raymond and Martha (Diekmann) Jaminet. Janice attended Gehlen Catholic school in Le Mars, and after the family moved to Sioux City, attended Sioux City schools.
Janice was a dedicated worker during her life, she worked various places including John Morrell and later at the local FBI office. After her retirement, she worked around the area house cleaning. Janice enjoyed playing bingo, cribbage and embroidering. During her children's early years, she loved playing baseball with her children.
Janice was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Janice is survived by her sons, Jim (Tami) Tieck, Jerry Tieck, Alan (Karen Graham Nichol) Mast, Thomas (Annette) Mast, Kevin Clark and David Clark, daughters Victoria Rose, Amber (Russ) Gray, Kim (Duane) Schuur and Kris Sudtelgte, 32 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Ronnie Tieck and Joey Tieck, 1 sister, Darlene Baker and 4 brothers, Donald, Darrell (Linda), Gerald (Patty) and Mark Jaminet,.a grandson Brandon Thieson, a great-great grandson Hunter Meylor and son in law, Larry (Gene) Rose
Janice was a friend of Bill W for over 34 years.
