Janice was born on November 12, 1936 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Claudine (Fitzpatrick) Wilcox. She graduated 1954 from High School in Des Moines, and then worked for the Bell Telephone System as a switchboard operator. In 1960 she was married to William D. "Bill" Bingaman. During 2003, she moved to Kansas to live near her son and grandchildren. In 2014, she moved to the Sioux City area. Janice attended the Sunnybrook Community Church.
Janice will always be remembered for her benevolence, and friendly demeanor. She unselfishly showered everybody around her with her generous love, care, and affection. She was a person that exuded gentleness, humility, pure and genuine love.
Her grand children were the joy of her heart- as she was to them. Her memory will forever be embedded not only in our minds, but to the core of our hearts. This is the kind of Janice that we will cherish for the rest of our life.
Janice is survived by her son James Bingaman and his family members, Olivia and her son Dominic; and four grandchildren, Sasha, Kyle, Hailey and Savanah Bingaman.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987.
