Obituary
Jane M. Hernandez, 80 of Sioux City, died Friday, December 9, 2016 at a local care facility.
Memorial service will be held 7:00pm Friday, December 16, 2016 at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street.
Jane Margaret Hernandez was born February 10, 1936 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Benjamin and Hazel (Zimmerman) Sheley. She attended Central High School, married John Hernandez, and was a life time residence of Sioux City, she considered herself as a south bottom kid.
She would help anyone that was in need of anything, and enjoyed reading.
Jane is survived by her son Michael (Laura) Hernandez of Round Rock, TX, one daughter Lynne (Harold) Coffman of Bronson, IA., and three grandchildren Zachary, Alexis, Erica, and one sister, Mary Lesline. Mary has since passed away on Tuesday, December 12th.
She preceded in death by her husband John in 2009, one son Steven in 2010.
