James L. "Jim" Zinn, 58 of Sioux City passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Sioux City.

Jim was born on March 1, 1953 in Sioux City, the son of Roger and Joanne (Rys) Zinn. He graduated in 1971 from Bishop Heelan High School. Jim worked at the Swift & Company packing house until it’s closing, then became a self employed carpenter in the area. On November 20, 1978, Jim married Teresa Kyriazes in Sioux City. They later divorced.

Jim spent most of his spare time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing pool and darts.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Tessa Zinn and Angie and her husband Reggie Torno; his son Bill Zinn and his wife Nikki; his parents, Roger and Joanne Zinn; his sisters, Sheryll and her husband Stuart Moore and Sandy and her husband Bill Burke; and his granddaughters, Tiffany Torno, Brittany Torno, Latasia Zinn, Khrysa Zinn, Tianna Zinn, Kamesha Zinn and Brooke Zinn; and his nephews, Jacob and Drew Moore..
