James Richard Donald Purcell, 21 of Sioux City, died Saturday, June 3, 2017. Memorial Service will be held 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Whitfield United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

James Richard Donald Purcell was born December 24, 1995 in Sioux City, IA. the son of Donald Purcell and Helen (Strong) Moyle. James had recently graduated. He worked at Rocket Auto Wash, enjoyed the outdoors and being with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Helen Moyle, four brothers; Anthony (LaShawna) Moyle of Sioux City, Chris (Kathleen) Moyle of Mapleton, IA., Chad Moyle and Donnie Purcell, both of Sioux City, IA., three sisters; Monica (Purcell) Stander, Angela Sharpes both of Weeping Water, NE., Bridget (Jeff) Jump of Pender, Ne., multiple nieces and nephews, and one great niece.

James is preceded in death by his father Donald.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
