James “Jimmy” Pederson, 62 of Larrabee, Iowa passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022 at a hospital in Cherokee. Services will be held at a later time in the summer. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Jimmy was born February 6, 1959 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of James and Patricia (Cardwell) Pederson. He graduated from West High School in 1977. On June 8, 1986 he married Molly Hill in Sioux City, Iowa. Jimmy was a motorcycle mechanic. He loved to be outside, camping and fishing were one of his enjoyments of life. But his passion was for his family and his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Freeman, wife, Molly, four sons, Justin (Erin LeMasters) Rogers, Jesse Pederson, Travis (Hailey Smith) Pederson, Brian (Jessica) Perkins, one brother, Jeffrey Cardwell, three sisters, Julie Bell Sarff, Michele Pederson, Marcia Mathison, and six grandchildren, Aurora Rogers, Anthony Pederson, Bailey Pederson, Rowdy Pederson, Jacob Perkins, and Elizabeth Perkins

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, James Pederson.
