James P. Krogh, 67, of Sioux City, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at his residence.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.
Jim was born on June 22, 1947 in San Diego, California, the son of Kenneth Louis and Helen Blackwood. He grew up in and attended school in San Diego. Jim joined the United States Army and then returned to California.
On April 20, 1972, he was united in marriage to Michele Buccoliero in San Diego, California. In 2005, Jim and Michele moved to Sioux City to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Jim loved riding his bicycle and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.
Jim is survived by sons: James Krogh and his wife Lauren of California and Peter Krogh and his wife Charity of Sioux City, daughter: Rachel Byrne and her wife Keisha of Sioux City, sister Marilyn Krogh of California, and nine grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Michele, sister: Anna, and brother: Kenneth Jr.
