James "Jim" E. Loker

James “Jim” E. Loker, 69 years 4 months and 7 days, of Sioux City, IA, entered into peace on August 6, 2026. No services are scheduled at this time. 

Jim was born in Sioux City, IA to Elwin and Barbara (Hilsinger) Loker. He loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Jim worked as a courtesy driver for Knoepfler for several years and as a taxi driver. He loved driving. He enjoyed working on vehicles, building model cars, riding his motorcycle, and fishing.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Matthew Heimbecker (Tara Pedersen) and Ashley Heimbecker (Adam Fuller); grandchildren: Hayden, Danika, Aden, Autumn, Cerenytie, Nikcola, Acaydian, Temperance, and Faya and longtime girlfriend, Teresa “Terry” Mohr.

He is preceded into Heaven by his loving parents, Elwin and Barbara Loker and several aunts and uncles.

Jim will live on in the lives of others as he was a donor. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
