Jacqualine L. “Jackie” Derochie, 73 of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at a local care facility. Services will be held 6:00 pm Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Jackie was born on July 16, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Eugene and Cecile (Metcalf) Boyle. She grew up in Sioux City, graduating from Central High School.  In 1967, she married Kenny Derochie.

Jackie worked at various area businesses, including Sunshine Bakery, Interbake Foods, the Skyline Bar, and until 2001, at the North Sioux City Casey’s store. In her youth, Jackie enjoyed camping and fishing and later years bowling.

Jackie is survived by her sons, Kevin (Dawn) Derochie and Travis (Emilee) Derochie; grandchildren Makayla Derochie, Jay Davison, Alexis Derochie, Ashlyn Derochie, Alivia Derochie, Jaycee Davison, Andrew Derochie, Jaymison Jurrens and Kenadee Derochie; great-grandchildren Makiye and Jakobe; her sister, Pam (Jerry) Beglau and their children, Michelle (Jon) Eyer and Gregg (Kristen) Beglau.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ronnie.
