Jackie ‘Jack’ Conner, 80, of Hubbard, Nebraska died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at a local Hospital. Graveside services will be 11:00 Monday, May 14 at Taylor Cemetery, Homer, Nebraska,  near Hubbard, Nebraska, with Military Honors provided by the United States Air Force.

Jack was born March 25, 1938 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Bert and Florance (Rager) Conner. He grew up in Emerson, Nebraska, graduating from Emerson High School. Jack joined the Air Force in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1960. He married Judy Bernritter December 30, 1958. Together they made their home in Topeka, Kansas before returning to Nebraska and Hubbard for the last 35 years. Jack worked as a mechanic on forklifts for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Hubbard, NE; 4 children, Steven (Kaye) Conner of Athens, WI., Jacqueline (Terry) Howard of Tok, Alaska, Meachelle (Dave) Weber of Sergeant Bluff, IA., and Scott (Laura) Conner of Belleview, NE; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
