Jack Beachy, 78, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery following services.

Jack was born on June 27, 1939 in Sioux City, the son of Jack and Iva (Nelson) Beachy. He graduated from Central High School in 1958. Jack served in the United States Navy from 1958 to 1962.

Jack worked for the City of Sioux City, Pamida Stores, and IPB/Tyson. He loved to go fishing and play casino games. Most of all, Jack loved being a Scout Leader and helping his grandson, Joseph on his journey to becoming an Eagle Scout.

Survivors include his wife, Rochelle; daughter, Tricia Beachy of Sioux City; stepson, Craig Rogers of Starbuck, MN; grandchildren, Joseph and Hannah Beachy; sister, Lois Nelson, all of Sioux City; and his beloved black lab, Tess.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Rodvold; and stepson, Dan Rogers.
