Ida Anderson 73, of Concord, Nebraska passed away at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave with a visitation an hour prior, burial will be at Wakefield Cemetery, Wakefield, Nebraska following the service.

Idabeth Hallowell was born on December 7, 1947 to Samuel and Elizabeth (Sas) Hallowell. She graduated from West Monona School of Onawa, Iowa in 1968. Ida then later married Don Anderson in Wakefield, Nebraska in 1977.

Ida started her career at Elmwood Care Center in Onawa, Iowa, then for over 30 years she worked at Hillcrest Care Center in Laurel, Nebraska as a CNA where she retired from. Ida enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed antiquing.

Ida is Survived by her husband, Don Anderson; sons, Don (Tracy) Turner, Brian Anderson; brother, Dick (Jeanene) Hallowell; sister, Rebecca Noel; sister-in-law, Genise Hallowell; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews

Ida is preceded in death by both her parents; brother, Samuel Theodore Hallowell; and sister, Merrilee Hallowell.
