Henry “Hank” Lee Greer Jr., 64, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, June 26th, 2023. Services will be 10:00 am on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Mt Zion Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service with family present at the church.

Hank was born November 25, 1958, in Okinawa Japan to Henry and Helen (Williams) Greer. Hank moved to Sioux City, Iowa at the age 5 and graduated from West High in 1978. He was an avid wrestler bringing home numerous state titles as well as an exceptional athlete in football & track. Hank was a retail manager for several years at Hy-Vee and then later in life took care of his mother Helen.

Henry most memorable hobby was fishing and passed the love onto his children. Hank will always be remembered by his smile and the laughter that he shared with everyone that knew him. Children will remember Hank by always having gum and candy for them.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Ida “Granny” Greer, his grandfather, James Greer, mother, Helen Greer, brother, Michael Greer and his sister Mora ”Pat” Greer

Survivors include his father, Henry Greer Sr., wife, Kimberly Greer children; Breiann Greer and husband Adam of Marshfirld, WI, Henry “Hank” McCall and wife Ashleigh of Sioux Falls, SD, Bridgett Greer of Monroe, LA, Jackson Greer of Sioux City, IA, Jason Greer of Sioux City, IA, Jesse Greer of Sioux City, IA, grandchildren; Aniyah, Aubreigh, Jamison, Cherish, Jackson Jr., Isaiah, Joslyn, Daija, Jason Jr., Jaslina, Jesse Jr., Alexandria, Aaliyah, Jace, and Major, brother, Chris Greer and wife Julie of Rapid City, SD  Anthony Greer and his wife Millie of Los Angeles, CA

Pall bearers will be Hank McCall Jackson Greer Jason Greer Jesse Greer Tyler Greer, Jamison Martin honorary pallbearers will be Jackson Greer Jr Isaiah Greer Jason Greer Jr Jesse Greer Jr Jace Greer Major Greer Tyler Greer Jr August Greer.
