Obituary

Heather Christine Coyle, 41, of Sioux City, entered heaven on Thursday, September 3, 2015 following a courageous battle with cancer , surrounded by her family. Family and friends invite you to a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Visitation with the family one hour prior to service time.

Heather was born on March 30, 1974 to Jerry and Kay (Snodgrass) Coyle. Heather was blessed with two daughters, Cayla and Emma, and was the loving grandma to Benton and Maxton. She was a special aunt to Hannah (her best friend).

Heather graduated from West High School in 1992. She continued her education at Briar Cliff and Western Iowa Tech, pursuing a nursing career. She worked at HyVee in Sioux City and Fort Dodge as a Floral Designer. She also worked at Exact Eye Care, and she made many friends at both places.

Heather enjoyed telling stories and entertaining all those in her life. Her laughter and whit were special. Heather enjoyed spending time at the cabins on the river with her "mom & dad", Leet and Bill. She loved boating with Becky and Marc, cooking with Christy, and took many trips with Paula and all the kids. She enjoyed collecting buttons and bouncy balls. She will truly be missed and will be in our heart forever.

Survivors include her parents, Jerry and Kay Coyle, her sister Holly Struthers, her 2 daughters, Cayla Coyle and Chad Hansen and their boys, Benton and Maxton; and Emma Jo Coyle; her niece Hannah Struthers; her grandmother, Mercedes Coyle; many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Heather was preceded in death by her great grandma Mildred "Dutch" Anderson, grandfather Jack Coyle, grandfather and grandmother, Paul and Barb Snodgrass, her uncles Dan Frisch and Steve Snodgrass and a cousin, Geoff Frisch.
