Harry A. Minor, 73, of North Sioux City, SD passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Harry was born on October 19, 1952 in Smyrna, TN to Paul and Margarete (Klau) Minor. He received his GED from WITCC and also received his degree in Electronic Engineering.

Harry loved everything outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, boating, walking and yard work. He was also an excellent cook. He loved to make his own bacon and jerky and would smoke lots of different kinds of meat.

Those left to honor his memory include his lifelong partner of 27 years, Barb Plafcan; children: Crista (Brian) Johnson and Sara Jensen; step-children: Andrea Brown, Joshua Rosenbaum, Jeremiah Rosenbaum, and Nicholas Plafcan; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jeff Minor; brother-in-law, Jim Marshall; a sister-in-law, Pat Minor, and multiple nieces and nephews.

 He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Crystal Marshall, brother, Rick Minor, two nephews and a niece.
