Harry L. Loraditch, 77 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 surrounded by his family. Celebration of life will be held later this spring. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, June 11 at the Waterbury Funeral Service in Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Harry was born May 23, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was the fourth of five children to David and Ella Mae (Stutzman) Loraditch. He graduated from Central High School in 1963. After graduating, Harry served in the United States Navy.

He remarried Jean Bruneau in 1984 after a brief marriage in 1968. They moved back to Sioux City in 2013 after living in Colorado for many years.

Harry worked hard all his life beginning when he spent his summers during his youth working on his Uncle’s farm. He had a successful career that took him all over the United States before retiring in 2015 after nearly 45 years as a Licensed Electrician.

Anyone who knew Harry knew he was the most loving father anyone could ask for and a friend you could always count on. He had a great sense of humor and had many stories to tell of his adventures. He enjoyed fishing, dancing with his wife, playing the slots at casinos, hunting, family vacations, and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Harry is survived by his loving wife, Jean, four daughters, Lisa Brown, Dawn (Brian) Hindman, Kari Trizila, Amy Loraditch, three sisters, Fayth Olson, Delores (Larry) Greeough, Charlene Howe, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, David, and sister, MaryAnn Clarke.
