Harold J. Paul, 75, died on Monday, March 5 at his home near Sioux City. Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 - 4:00pm Friday, March 9 at Waterbury Funeral Home in Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Informal reception to follow at Saratoga Club. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.


Harold was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on April 9, 1942 .After graduating from Morley High School, he attended IBM management school and then began a long career in sales.

Harold loved to fish, enjoyed any and all sports and was a loyal friend to many, especially those he visited daily at The Saratoga Club

He is survived by his companion of nearly twenty years, Judith Launsby, his two daughters, Gina Sorensen and husband Steve of Austin, Texas, Julie Kuhlman and husband Greg of Marion, one son, Matt Paul of Des Moines; brother Larry Paul and his friend Sharon of Cedar Rapids, two sisters Ruth Rosdail of rural Marion and Doris Himes and her husband Doug of Colton, California, and seven grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother David, and his sister Sally.
