Hailey Marie Goodvin, precious daughter of Alyssa and Ray Goodvin, was born on April 16th at 6:52 pm. After a very short time with her, she gained her angel wings on April 17th at 9:23 am. She was in the warm embrace of her mommy and daddy’s arms and was able to pass peacefully.

Hailey Marie, you will forever be our daughter, and you have left an empty space in our hearts that will never be filled. We dreamed of watching you grow, holding you close, and giving you all our love. Instead, we now carry you in memory. The impact you left on our hearts is immeasurable. You are forever loved and will be forever missed. We will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m., with a visitation from 4-7:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  A private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. In memory of Hailey, the family requests that you wear pink or purple.

Those left to honor Hailey’s memory include her loving parents, Ray and Alyssa Goodvin; grandparents: Tony and Melissa Voege, and Jeremy and Teressa Goodvin; great-grandparents: Connie Davis, Doug and Sandy Grage, Darrell and Lori Voege, and Jackie Goodvin; aunts and uncles: Caden (Jordyn Wendte) Voege, Steven (Lindsey Sabatka) Goodvin, Katrina (Nathan Leonard) Goodvin, Zach Goodvin, Sarah Goodvin; many other loving family members.

Waiting for Hailey in heaven were her great grandparents: Edwin and Cora McLang, and Virgil Goodvin.
