Gwendolyn K. Jensen, 67 of Sioux City, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her home.

Funeral service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, June 21, 206 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street, with Rev. Michael Erpelding officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8pm Monday at the funeral home in Sergeant Bluff. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Gwendolyn was born on January 29, 1949 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the daughter of Matthew and Barbara (VanRipper) Artz. Gwen Attended Catholic Schools. Gwendolyn married Kenneth Jensen January 7, 1972 and they were married for 42 years until his passing in 2012.

Gwen worked at Memorial Park for 10yrs then for 8 years at Aalfs Manufacturing. She enjoyed babysitting at her home. Gwen loved her pets.

Gwen is survived by her two sons; Terry (Angela) Jensen of Mississippi, Robert McKnight, two daughters; Carol (Dean) Williams of Sioux City, Tressa (Don) Fischer of South Sioux City, three brothers; Larry Artz of Huron, SD, Michael Burges Huron, SD, Leonard Artz of Sioux City, five sisters; Diane (Doug) Ramsey Carson City, NV, Vicky (Gary) Ferguson of Huron, SD, Maggie Quiram of Huron, SD, Kathy (Gary) Stahl of Kansas City, KS, Wanda Schoenwetter of Huron, SD, 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, her parents, and one sister Maryetta Rodesch and one grandson, Trent McKnight.
