Grace F. Parrish, 78 of Sioux City, died Sunday, December 26, 2021.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 6 pm Monday, January 3, 2022 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation 4-7 pm, with the family present 5-7 pm.

Grace F. Parrish was born July 12 1943 in Pisgah IA on the family farm to Mike (Melis) and Lorraine Hanson Otton. Her father came to America from Holland when he was very young.

She attended First grade at Pisgah, then Holly Springs and Grace graduated from Holly Springs Hornick School 1960. Grace was very active in Basketball and Softball. She graduated from Ellis School of Cosmetology.

Grace lived and worked in Cherokee, Westfield and the Sioux City areas. She married Dick Parrish in 1963. Three children were born from this union.

Grace enjoyed her children's (and grand-kid's) sports events, Working outside on the farm, crafts,  and tending her flowers. She worked at Casey’s and Walmart.  Later in life, she enjoyed visiting and helping her "senior" friends, jigsaw and word puzzles.

Grace is survived by one daughter, Jodi (Dick) Vondrak, two sons Jim Parrish, and Jeff (Tracy) Parrish; 9 grandchildren, Krista (Jason) Roeber, Amanda (Nate Hampsmire) Garthright, Jake Parrish, Jessica Parrish, Ryan (Heather) Leedom, Kayla Hattig, Amanda Hattig, Cody Parrish and Alexis Parrish; 14 great grandchildren, Janessa Simeon, Jackson, Memphis & Bristol Roeber, Mercedes, Ashton, Tracen, and Zander Ramirez, Mason and Hunter Leedom, Jakai and Zia Nelson and Parrish twins expected this summer. Also one sister Joyce Vanderlinden.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.
