Gladene "Penny" Kleinberg, 73, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at her residence. A Celebration of Penny's life will be held from 4-8 with family present from 6-8 and a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Penny was born on June 26, 1945 in  Sioux City to Philip and Gladys (Fisher) Ryan. She grew up in Sioux City and attended Washington Elementary, East Middle, and East High School. Penny married Richard Kleinberg on June 30, 1962 in Sioux City.

Penny owned and operated a house cleaning service. She enjoyed camping, she and Rich belonged to a camping club for many years. Penny had multiple dogs throughout her life, and loved each and every one of them. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Penny and Rich were active in Sioux City Rivercade and Sioux City Community Theater for many years.

Survivors include her Husband of 56 years, Rich; son, Todd (Heather) Kleinberg of Sioux City; daughter, Jodie (Joe) Brinkerhoff of Stephenville, Texas; and grandchildren, Mindy, Katelyn, and Austin Brinkerhoff, Olivia and Jacob Wiley, and Philip Kleinberg.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Darrel and Donn.
