Gary Dean Trudell, 70 of Sioux City died Monday, June 12, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 10 am Tuesday at St. Paul's Indian Mission. Burial will be in Hubo Cemetery in Lindy, Nebraska. Wake services will start at 7 pm Saturday at St. Paul's Indian Mission.
Gary was born on February 11, 1953 in Winnebago, Nebraska the son of Henry, Sr. and Lois (Rouillard) Trudell. He graduated from Central High School in 1972.
Gary worked for the City of Sioux City's Water Department, and then attended Western Iowa Community Tech College, graduating in the first Carpentry class.
Gary worked for the Boy's Club, the Indian Center and WinnaVagas Casino and Resort. He last worked at the Food Bank until 2015.
Gary was a fantastic artist and created many masterpieces. He enjoyed shooting pool, gambling at the casinos, listening to music, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his lifetime companion Brenda Frazier, his sons Nathiniel Fraizer, Jason Frazier and Jesse Frazier, daughters Nicole Frazier and Marclene Frazier, 13 grandchildren, Tekkalyon, Teya, Tillie, Tyrant, Taliha, Takkia, Niya, Ayianna, Krestyn Dean, Jaelene, Jaeda, Ko'dah and Kamiminah, his brothers Henry Trudell, Jeffery Trudell and Frankie Trudell, his sisters Debra Trudell and Lori "Lynnie" Trudell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters, Mike Trudell, Cheryl Trudell, George Trudell, Ronald – Sal Trudell, Steve Trudell, Teresa Trudell and Larry Trudell.
