Gary D. Custer, 67 of Sioux City, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at a local hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 1 pm Sunday, March 11th at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Visitation 1 hour prior to service time.

Gary David Custer was born on November 6, 1950 in Sioux City, the son of Gene and Shirley (Laddusaw) Custer. He graduated from Central High School. Gary worked mainly as a machinist during his working career. Gary's hobbies included playing cards and fishing.

Gary is survived by his significant other Marlene Thomasson of Sioux City, sons, Todd (Christy) Jasa of Sioux City, David (Jennifer) Custer of Bozeman, MT, Terry (Kristi) Jasa of Manilla, IA, Gene Custer of South Sioux City, NE, and Troy (Mandie) Custer of Tool, TX, 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, his brothers Dennis Custer of Moville, IA and Terry Custer of Sioux City and his sisters Patricia Ellis of Sioux City and Carol Junck of Sioux City and his ex-wife, Sandy Custer of El Dorado Springs, MO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Linda Winstead and Tina Custer and brothers Guy Custer and Randy Custer and his dog, Shiloh.
