Gale R Griffin, 76 of Decatur, NE formerly of Salix, IA died Friday, June 28, 2019 at his residence in Decatur, NE.

Gale R Griffin was born on November 2, 1942 in Luverne, Minnesota the son of Myron and Hazel (Ridenour) Griffin.  He graduated from Hills High School in Hills, Minnesota.  Gale retired from Smurfit Container in the late 1990's.  After retirement he worked several part time jobs.

Gale enjoyed fishing, camping and sports.

Gale is survived by his special friend, Barb Maslonka, his two sons, Greg & Todd Griffin, his sisters, Carol Barton and Shirley Berryhill, and one brother Larry Griffin, as well as a niece, Glenda Zoet who was raised with the family and his special step grandkids, Mitch and Taylor Choquette, and beloved dog, Molly.

Gale was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Earl, Glen & Albert and one sister, Dorothy.
