Gabriel J. Estrada, 15, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Sunday, October 4 , 2020. Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Friday, October 9 , 2020 at the Iglesia Pentecostes Lirio Del Valle Church, 1000 Virginia Street, Sioux City, with Rev. Tranquilino Estrada- Ramirez officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8pm Thursday, October 8 , 2020 at the church. Arrangements are under the dircetion of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Gabriel Josue Estrada was born on June 1 , 2005 in Sioux City, the son of Tranquilino Estrada-Ramirez and Ramona Alvarez Estrada. Gabriel started his schooling at the Irving Elementary School, then North Middle School and was currently a sophomore at North High School. At Irving he enjoyed participating in music, and at North was on the track team.

Gabriel loved all animals and taking care of plants. He enjoyed being outside and riding his bike. After church services, he could be found helping out the teachers of the Sunday School classes getting supplies and treats for the students. Gabriel loved his nephew Matthew.

Gabriel is survived by his parents, Tranquilino Estrada-Ramirez and Ramona Alvarez Estrada, his brothers Jesse, Miguel, David, and his sister Abigail Estrada, his paternal grandparents Jesus and Olivia Ramirez Estrada and his maternal grandparents Franciso J. Alvarez and Maria Wetrosky.
