Alfred L. "Fred" Mercer, 51 of Sioux City, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at his home.
Memorial services will be held 12:30 pm Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Radiant Life Community Church, 423 George Street. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.
Fred Mercer, son of Kenneth and Lenice Mercer was born December 1, 1964 in Sioux City. Fred graduated from the Sergeant Bluff–Luton High School in 1984. He was a member of the Radiant Life Church where he made lots of friends.
Survivors include his mother, Lenice; a brother Nick Mercer and his wife Angie of Waukee, Iowa; 2 nephews, Saige and Hunter Mercer and a niece, Aliana Mercer, also of Waukee; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth, who passed away only 11 months ago and is waiting with open arms in heaven.
