Frances M Evernham, age 78, of Lincoln, Nebraska formerly of Sioux City died Tuesday in Lincoln.
Funeral services will be held Friday March 18,2011 at 1:00 pm at St.James United Methodist Church in Sioux City with Rev. Ryan Christenson officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Township Cemetery in Moville.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-8pm with the family present from 5-7 and a prayer service held at 6:00 pm at Waterbury Funeral Service.
Frances was born on February 21, 1933 in Sioux City the daughter of Orin Ray and Marjorie Pearl (Nisbet) Rumelhart. She was united in marriage with Maurice Oran Evernham on August 31,1950 at St. James United Methodist Church in Sioux City. This union was blessed with six children.
Frances was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.
She will be missed by her family which includes her sons and daughter-in-laws Alvin (Al) Maurice and Debbie Evernham of Sergeant Bluff, Vernon George and Robin Evernham of Lawton, Danny Lee and Bonnie Evernham of Bronson; daughters and son-in-laws, Sharon Kay and William Pike Evernham of Oak Grove, Minnesota; Kathern(Kathy) Frances and Darren Evernham of Lincoln,Nebraska; Sandra Pearl Evernham of East Bethel, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Delbert Rumelhart of Fort Worth, Texas, sister-in-laws marie Rumelhart of West Point,Iowa; Eulalia Gruing of Windom, Minnesota along with many nieces and nephews.
The family has established a memorial fund to held with her medical bills and donations may be made to the family at 5711 Queens Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska 68516.
