Frances L. Cameron, 94 of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Friday, July 10, 2026 at a care facility in Le Mars, surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be held 11:00am Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at the Waterbury Funeral Service in Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Frances was born on May 4, 1932 in Sioux City, the daughter of Clayton and Frances (Carpenter) Moore. Frances attended North Junior School.

On November 9, 1949 Frances was united in marriage to Tarquin Cameron in Sioux City. Frances worked in receiving at JC Penny’s during the 1970’s and early 80’s. She enjoyed working with ceramics and won first place with a ceramic eagle at the 1972 Tri-State Amateur Ceramics Show.

Frances is survived by her husband Tarquin; sons Dennis (Laura) Cameron and Bruce (Anna) Cameron; grandchildren Arlin, Brittany, Shannon, Rochelle, Joel, Tony and Kelty; great-grandchildren Savannah, Phoenix, Morganne, Faith, Tyler, Callah, Hope, Kyle, Vatjalis, Oleg, Logan, Emilee and Kael and numerous great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Theodore Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Joseph, a grandson, Tracey Cameron, two sisters, Virginia “Pat” Hout and Dorothy Mayo and two brothers, Frank Moore and Ernie Moore.
