Faye Ann Coenen, 68, of Jackson, NE, passed away surrounded by her family on October 9, 2023.  A graveside service will be held Friday, October 20, 2023, at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Waterbury Funeral Home of Sioux City is handling the arrangements.

Faye was born on February 11, 1955, in Wakefield, NE to William and Vera (Allbaugh) Adams.  She graduated from Jefferson High School.  Faye worked as a supervisor at Terpack Meat Packing, retiring in 2020.  Faye was very family oriented; she loved them, especially her kids and grandkids.  She was interested in her family tree and ancestry, often traveling to Canada and Oklahoma for research.  She was a spiritual woman who enjoyed nature, her time outside, plants and gardening.  She also enjoyed collecting antiques, listening to music, and spending time with her cats.  Faye had a great sense of humor and was fiercely independent and strong willed, even up until the end.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Mitch (Stephanie) Coenan, Sioux City, IA; grandchildren: Alex and Chris; brother, Wayne Adams, Sioux City, IA; and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, David Allen Coenen.
