He was united in marriage with Kandace Kroger on June 14, 1980 in Sioux City.

Everett worked as a mechanic for many years at Condon Buick, and most recently had been employed at Malloy Electric.

He had a nickname for everyone he came into contact with; he loved anything with wheels, fishing, and riding his motorcycle or go karts. He had the biggest heart of anyone, and was the world’s best mechanic.

He is also survived by four brothers: Rodney and his wife Carol of Sioux City, Dennis and his wife Joyce of Sioux City, Marcus of Dakota Dunes, S.D., and John and his wife Rita of Sioux City, four sisters: Charlene Berger and her husband Robert of Sioux City, Linda Ring and her husband Michael, of Sioux City, Patricia Groves and her husband Clint of Topeka, Kansas, and Mary Schultz of Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. He is also survived by his three grandchildren: Jadon, Simone, and Varian, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
