Evelyn Mary Peck, beloved infant daughter of Rachael and Kyrese Peck, went to Heaven on August 1, 2024.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents: Rachael and Kyrese Peck; brother, Eli Peck; grandparents: Julie and Tom Conolly, and Kristina Peck; great-grandparents: Jeff and MaryAnn Peck, Jack Rickert, and Dolores Conolly; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her great grandparents: Mary Rickert, Jim Conolly; and great-great grandma, Shirley Peck.

Though Evelyn's time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness she shared with us will forever remain in our hearts.

I Heard Your Voice In The Wind Today

I heard your voice in the wind today and I turned to see your face; The warmth of the wind caressed me as I stood silently in place. I felt your touch in the sun today as its warmth filled the sky; I closed my eyes for your embrace and my spirit soared high. I saw your eyes in the window panes, I watched the falling rain; It seemed as each raindrop fell it quietly said your name. I held you close in my heart today it made me feel complete; You may have died… but you are not gone you will always be a part of me. As long as the sun shines… the wind blows… the rain falls… You will live on inside of me forever for that is all my heart knows.
