Eugene F. Jauron, age 78, of Sioux City died Thursday January 12, 2012 at a Sioux City hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Monday January 15, 2012 at Waterbury Funeral Service at 10:30am with Rev. Roger Madden of First United Methodist Church in Sioux City officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5-8pm with the family present from 6-8 at the funeral home. Eugene was born in Sioux City, Iowa on July 30, 1933 to Clement and Nelle (Stiles) Jauron. The family lived in the Salix area for a few years before moving to the Sioux City area.
He was united in marriage with Yvonne Twinn in 1954, and the couple later divorced. He then married Patricia Kane in 1972, and she preceded him in death in 1998. He then married Bibi Gaznebbi in October of 2005.
Eugene worked for more than 40 years for Mid-America Energy as a meter reader. He enjoyed the outdoors actively participating in fishing, hunting, and shooting. He also enjoyed traveling.
Eugene is survived by his wife Bibi, of Sioux City, his sons; Jason and his wife Tonya of LeMars,Iowa, Kevin and his special friend Melissa of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His daughter Annette Simpson and her husband Howard of Kansas City, Missouri and his five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Eugene “Buck” Jauron.
