Emma L. (Lou) Easton, 75 of Sioux City, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at a local nursing home.
A Memorial Service will be held at noon, Sunday, November 2, 2014 with Joseph Thompson officiating, from Longmont, Colorado, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
Emma was born on October 14, 1939 in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of LeRoy and Mildred (Fiscus) McNaughton.
Emma worked at various nursing homes in the Siouxland area as a cook and later, Dietary Supervisor. She was a talented artist and also enjoyed crocheting.
Emma is survived by her daughters Tammy and her husband Ronald Thompson of Sioux City, and Sabrina and her husband Jay Clark of Onawa; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Sonja, Katie, Brianna and Josh; six great-grandchildren; her sister Judy and her husband Ron Thompson of Sioux City; many nieces and nephews, and extended family member Benny Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Kelly Bybee, two sons, Troy Summersett and James Belote, and eight brothers, Edward, James, Darrell, Phillip, Russell, Joseph, Douglas and Richard McNaughton.
