Elizabeth A. Peterson, 47 of Sioux City, died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at her residence.
Memorial Services will be held 7 pm Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 pm to 8 pm. Online condolences may be sent to www.waterburyfuneralserviceinc@cableone.net.

Elizabeth was born on February 14, 1967 in Sioux City, the daughter of Richard and Ruth (Evans) Peterson. She graduated from a Sioux City high school in 1984. Over the years, Elizabeth worked at K-Mart, A-1 Vans Flowers, as a security officer at the parking ramp, and she also managed one of the local homeless shelters.

She liked to crochet and knit, do gardening and especially quality time with the family. She was a huge music lover and went to many concerts.

Elizabeth is survived by her son Myles Bailey; daughter Autumn Stamoulis; her brother Rex Peterson; her sisters, Valerie Celene, Cyndi and her husband Mike Kramer and Lana Peterson; her mother, Ruth Peterson; and her grandchildren, Jude Bailey and Edward Shearer.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Candice Bailey and son Dylan Peterson, her father, Richard Peterson and one brother, Aaron Peterson.
