Elaine F. Rubis, 77 of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at a local hospital.

Elaine was born on April 17, 1934 in Sioux City, the daughter of Louis and Veroncia (Moughan) Beeman. She graduated in 1951 from Pattensburg High School in Pattensburg, Missouri. On October 5, 1952 Elaine was united in marriage to Loran Rubis in Sioux City.

Elaine was a good human being and a good mother. She took care of her mother in the latter years of her life. Elaine was an avid reader, enjoyed her pet dogs, worked crossword puzzles and collected jello molds.

She is survived her husband, Loren: three children, Lawrence Rubis, Brian Rubis and Susan Hoesing; and four grandchildren, David Rubis, Austin Rubis, Ciera Hoesing and Emily Hoesing.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
