Edward "Ed" Mallory Parsley, 73, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by his family on June 25, 2025.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Ed was born on January 31, 1952 in Sioux City, IA to Bernard and Dorothy (Sitzman) Parsley.  He graduated from Riverside High School and went on to attend Western Iowa Tech Community College.  Ed was united in marriage to Linda Rayls on December 19, 1970.  He began working in maintenance for Wells Blue Bunny.  Coworkers would remember him as the funny little guy who always wore a costume for every holiday.  Ed enjoyed collecting dragons, aliens, Dr. Who memorabilia, and was a fan of all things superheroes.  He especially loved his partner in crime, his granddaughter Addison.

Those left to honor his memory include his children: Melissa (William) Barton, Christopher Parsley, and Kimberly (Cale) Bettin; grandchildren: Nathaniel and Addison.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife and soul mate, Linda Parsley.
