Edna F. Wilson, age 101, of Whiting, Iowa formerly of Des Moines passed away on Friday May 25, 2012 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday June 30, 2012 at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Edna was born on December 20, 1910 in rural Monroe County, Iowa the daughter of Roe and Rosa (Lovell) States. She attended school in Georgetown, Iowa and graduated from high school in 1929.

She was united in marriage with Dan Heimbach in 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa. Dan preceded her in death on 1948. She then married Glen Wilson in 1954, and Glen passed away on February 11, 1973.

Edna worked as a homemaker and also as an accountant for many years in the Des Moines area. Before moving to Whiting to be closer to her son, she had resided at Valley View Village in Des Moines.
She enjoyed playing cards and board games, and was of the Catholic faith.

She will be missed by her family which includes her son Tom Heimbach and his wife Joanne of Sergeant Bluff, her four grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and looked forward to her first great-great grandchild which will be joining the family later this year.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents, and her two husbands.
