Eddie Florian Gesiriech, 63, of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, passed away peacefully in the morning of August 26th, 2017 at his home. Private Family Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street.
Eddie was born July 20th, 1954, in Atkinson, Ne., to Aleta M. Kehm and Edward W. Gesiriech. Eddie was a Marine Vet who greatly loved his country and others. He was a proud, simple, and strong man. He greatly enjoyed the times he had with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Eddie loved walking around town to his favorite places and talking to anybody he came across.
Eddie is survived by his three daughters; Tori Jackson and son-in-law Brad Jackson of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Brandy Cook and son-in-law Mike Cook of Sergeant Bluff, IA, and Nena Gerdts of Freemont, NE., five grandchildren; Brandee and Kayla Anderson of Sioux City, Ebonnee and Malik Cook of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Zane Zastera of Freemont, NE., two great-grandchildren; Amiiya Anderson and Aleigha Keoninh of Sioux City, IA., brother, Ralph (Mickey) Kehm of Seward, NE., three sisters, Cleo Boles of Gilmore City, IA., Leona Christian of Olate, KS., and Deborah Hrenchir of Lincoln, NE.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents Aleta M. Khem and Edward W. Gesiriech, his two brothers; Edward W. Gesiriech Jr., and Jake Kehm.
