Dwight A. Kollbaum, 63 of Hinton, Iowa passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by United States Navy and the American Legion Post 662. Visitation one hour prior to service time.

Dwight Arthur Kollbaum was born on July 30, 1961, the son of Henry and Lyla (Card) Kollbaum. Dwight graduated from Moville High School.  Dwight started dating Cheryl Studley in the early 1990's and they united in marriage in June of 2009.

Dwight served a decade in the Navy enlisting in 1981. After his honorable discharge, as a Master Plumber, he worked at Morningside Plumbing, R. Prescott & Sons Plumbing and Heating, which later merged with Mpire Heating and Cooling. Later he started Town & Country Heating, working until retiring due to health.

Dwight enjoyed collecting guns, radios and doing woodwork projects.

Survivors include his sons Brandon (Veronica) Kollbaum, Jared (Amber) Kollbaum and Matthew Nesbit and daughters Danielle (Derek Hahn) Kollbaum and Michaela Nesbit, his mother Lyla Kollbaum, 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and his brother Jason (Brenda) Kollbaum and sister Tammy Frimml.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl in 2015 and his father, Henry.
