Dorothy A. Schwebach, 46, of Sioux City, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service time.

Dorothy Arlene Schwebach was born on March 12, 1969 in Sioux City, the daughter of Marvin and Lois Barnes. She started dating Thomas Korn in 2005 and together they raised her two boys, Mike and Austin. Dottie loved making tie blankets, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband Tom Korn, of South Sioux City, mother Lois Barnes of Primghar, IA, sons Mike Schwebach of MN and Austin Schwebach of South Sioux City, brothers Dan (Brenda) Barnes of AZ and Doug Barnes of Dakota City, sister Tina (Justin) Jacobson of Primghar, IA, sisters-in-law Shannon (John) Samuelson of TX and Kimberly Korn-Young of MN, granddaughters: Christina, Emmi, and Ryaleen, two grandsons, and special friend John Wippert.

Dottie was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Barnes.
