Donna J. Thacker 70, of Sioux City, IA, passed away June 21, 2025, at a local hospital.  A memorial service will be held Friday, June 27 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Donna J. Thacker was born on May 8, 1955, in Sioux City, the daughter of John and Beverly (McCuddin) Thacker. She was with the first graduating class of North High School in 1973. Donna worked for about 8 years at Goodwill Industries.

Donna moved to California for a few years, returning to Sioux City in 1987. Donna then worked for IML Plastic in Le Mars before retiring due to health issues. Donna was a people person who enjoyed visiting with her family and others.

Those left to honor her memory include her son, Michael Barr; siblings: Sally (Dave) Cason, Rebecca (John) Holmes, Linda Kunze, Marlene (Dave) Hesse; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike.
