Donna Goldie, 83, passed away on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, at home in Mountain View, California.

Graveside service will be held 2:00pm Friday, April 1, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.


Donna Mae Andress was born on August 8, 1932, in Sioux City, Iowa. She married Gordon Dean Goldie in 1954. They initially lived in many different states, as well as Panama and Argentina. In 1965, they became long-term residents of McLean, Virginia, where Donna lived until she moved to Mountain View in 1999.

Donna began working as a bookkeeper in 1972, where she worked in a variety of similar positions at many companies until retiring in 2012. She was a natural organizer who was good with numbers and always
beloved by her coworkers.


She especially enjoyed socializing with other mothers, playing with her grandchildren, working on puzzles, and watching sports. She lived an active life and always had a hard-working, positive, and energetic attitude.

She is survived by two sons, Doug and Dan, and three grandsons, Sean, Peter, and Jason.
